A Private Lake in a Stunning Natural Setting
At the heart of the venue lies a beautiful 5-acre spring-fed lake. It is surrounded by mature woodland and complemented by two additional stock ponds. With no public access and no neighbouring anglers, the lake offers complete tranquillity. You can fully immerse yourself in your fishing and the surroundings.
The lake features two islands, attractive overhanging margins, and depths ranging from 1 to 4 metres, creating a variety of productive features across the water. Importantly, the lake is free from nuisance species such as crayfish and poisson chat. This allows for confident baiting without the need for additional protection.
The Lake & Swims
There are six well-positioned swims, including one double swim, providing flexibility and comfort for all anglers. Fishing is available 24 hours a day, with legal night fishing and no permits required.
Bookings are on an exclusive-use basis, with a maximum of four anglers and two non-fishing guests. Plus, there is the option to add additional guests (up to ten people in total).

- Mirror carp to 43lb 12oz
- Multiple fish well over the 40lb mark
A major restocking programme was completed in December 2024, with 105 carp added. These ranged from 10lb to 40lb, alongside a further 45 carp introduced from the owners’ own stock pond. These fish are fed consistently all year round to maximise growth and condition.
Recent captures include two 40lb+ carp, several 30s, and a memorable 29lb 8oz personal best. This highlights the lake’s long-standing ability to produce quality fish.
Quality Bait Policy for Consistent Results
To protect fish welfare and maintain excellent fishing conditions, Lac de Laneuville operates a controlled bait policy. All particles must be purchased on site, with hemp and maize readily available. Only freezer boilies are permitted — shelf-life boilies are not allowed.
The lake’s own fishmeal and nut-based boilies are fed to the carp throughout the year, helping ensure consistency and reliable results for visiting anglers.
