First carp have been put into the lake in 1967. The club has managed the lake really well, especially in the last 15 years. The result of good management are massive carp that can nowadays be found in this beautiful lake. Current lake record is 37,8 kg. It is estimated that there are now 6 carp over 30 kg, 30 carp over 25 kg and 170 carp over 20 kg currently living in the lake. The lake offers 9 double and one single nicely arranged fishing pegs .
We are absolutely sure the lake holds great potential. Young carp are showing it off well with their incredible growth. There is currently no carp under 10 kg in the lake and we will keep it this way. There are currently 550 carp in the lake, with average weight 18 kg. By adding another 150 carp to the lake in autumn, we want to bring some freshness and slightly increase the fish mass. All carp put into the lake from this point on will be carefully picked in order to ensure the best genetic growth potential. The lake is nowadays known for offering a good challenge to any angler and we would like to keep it at this level. We will strive for quality over quantity (not too many carp but big ones). We can ensure you the lake will be a joy and offer a big challenge at the same time.
