Approximately 100 carp were stocked in January 2019, with the largest of the residents now weighing 63lb+. Further stockings of carp of Euro Aqua strain took place during the winter of March 2023 as part of an ongoing stocking program, so it is estimated there are 300+ carp in total.

The facilities can all be found in the newly built and fully furnished container. These include kitchen, toilets, hot shower and washing facilities along with a bait freezer, fridge for cold drinks and BBQ area.
Bait boats can be used and one is available to hire at 70 Euros a week.
Rowing Boats can be also be hired at the lake at 40 Euros a week. (Lifejackets are mandatory and are included in the rental Price of the rowing boat)
Motorhomes are welcome as the lake is gravelled all the way around the lake.
Friendly dogs are welcome – please let Angling Paradise know at the time of booking.

• Arrival Time – Any time after 12:30pm
• Departure Time – No later than 09:30am
• Fishing is only permitted from areas that have been provided; please do not fish between swims.
• Rods are not to be left unattended at any time.
• Maximum of three rods per angler.
• You must bring and use mats and weigh slings suitable for 50lb+ carp.
• No sacking of fish.
• Fish must only be weighed using a sling.
• Catch report and photographs of any notable fish caught would be appreciated for our website and notice board.
• Please ensure you dip all nets, mats and weigh slings before fishing.
• No braided mainlines.
• Safe Zone leaders are acceptable.
• Micro barbed hooks only.
• Minimum of 15lb main line to be used.
• No nuts of any kind.
• No lead core.
• When returning a fish to the water you must use a zipped sling regardless of the distance.
• The use of BBQ’s on legs is allowed; no ground level BBQ’s or any other fires.

• The normal process on arrival is that all anglers will enter a draw for the swim allocation, unless a prior agreement has been made for exclusive bookings.
