Terms & Conditions

Angling Paradise acts as a booking agent for the fishing, travel, and accommodation providers (“Providers”). We do not offer “package holidays” as we merely arrange for you to contract independently with the various Providers.

On receipt of your deposit, we will reserve your holiday at your chosen venue and any other arrangements you request. Your deposit is accepted as part payment towards the total cost of the holiday and will be allocated by us among the various Providers at our discretion.

Your booking is only confirmed and accepted when the invoice is dispatched to the person who organised the booking (the Lead Booker). The Lead Booker accepts these Terms & Conditions on behalf of their party.

The Lead Booker confirms that they are at least 18 years old and have supplied correct details (including name, address, contact numbers, and age if under 16) of everyone in the party.

The Lead Booker confirms they have the authority of all other persons in the party to make the booking on their behalf, accepts these Terms & Conditions for themselves and the party, and has provided a copy to all members. We will only deal with the Lead Booker, who is personally liable for all costs and charges.

Most elements of the holiday, except accommodation and fishery, must be paid in full at the time of booking. The balance of the holiday cost, less any deposit paid, must be paid no later than 12 weeks before departure (the “balance due date”). If booking within 12 weeks of departure, full payment is required at the time of booking.

If the balance is not received by the balance due date, we may cancel your booking, forfeit any deposit, and levy a cancellation charge (less the deposit) as per paragraph 7.

Cancellations must be in writing from the Lead Booker. Cancellation charges apply unless the relevant Provider’s terms state otherwise:

If Provider terms differ, we will impose their charges plus a £50 administration fee. Refunds may be given if accommodation or fishing is re-let, less the deposit and re-letting costs.

Quoted prices include VAT and may be adjusted to reflect changes in taxes or other levies.

Requested changes will be accommodated if possible, without an administration charge. Any additional costs charged by the venue or suppliers will be passed on. Holiday costs will be recalculated at the time of amendment, and original discounts may not apply.

Minor changes (e.g., ferry time) will be communicated at the earliest possible date. For major changes (e.g., different lake), you may accept the change or cancel with a full refund.

Unless otherwise stated, accommodation and fishing are available from 4pm on the arrival day until 9am on the departure day.

All party members must have a valid UK/EU passport. No refunds if travel permission is denied.

Angling Paradise and Providers may refuse bookings if behaviour may cause discomfort or harm, with no refunds.

Any travel arranged by Angling Paradise is subject to carrier conditions. We are not liable for delays or inconvenience. Providers are responsible for their services, and you are responsible for complying with their terms. Copies of terms are available on request.

We are not liable for loss or delay due to strikes, riots, political unrest, hostilities, war, terrorism, industrial disputes, fire, flood, technical/weather issues, port closures, weather conditions, or other events beyond our control.

We strongly recommend personal travel and vehicle breakdown insurance if driving.

(a) Personal data of all party members may be transmitted to Providers to process bookings. We have no control once data is passed to a Provider.

(b) Party members may request details of personal data held by us and request corrections.

(c) Non-photographic data will be deleted six years after the last trip; photographic data is retained indefinitely.

(d) Unless consent is withdrawn, the Lead Booker’s data may be used for promotional material.

(e) Data processing is overseen by the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO). Complaints should be addressed to the ICO.

Photographs provided by party members, or posted on social media, may be used to publicise our business and Providers. Consent can be withdrawn at any time by written notice.

Acceptance of these Terms & Conditions constitutes a contract under English Law and the exclusive jurisdiction of English Courts.

The Lead Booker is responsible for the behaviour of all party members and agrees to reimburse Angling Paradise for costs or losses arising from claims by Providers, party members, or third parties.

(a) At the venue – notify the owner/bailiff first, then Angling Paradise by phone.

(b) On return – unresolved complaints must be submitted in writing within 7 days, with photographic evidence if possible.

(c) Complaints made after the holiday will not normally be considered.

Angling Paradise provides a booking service only. We are not liable for accommodation, fishing, or transport failures unless caused by our negligence or breach of contract. Liability is limited by applicable international conventions.

We are not specialists in holidays for the disabled. Many venues may not be suitable. Inform us of any relevant disability at the time of booking.

Payments are protected under The Package Travel, Package Holidays and Package Tours Regulations 1992, including repatriation if required.

Every venue has Fishery Rules which must be followed. Breaching rules may result in termination of your holiday without compensation.

A security deposit may be required and refunded in full, subject to deductions for breakages or extra cleaning costs. Venues should be left clean and tidy.

Boat use is at your own risk. Boat hire/loan is a separate contract. Lifejackets and adequate safety precautions are mandatory.

Venues are primarily for fishing and may not be suitable for children. Adults are responsible for children’s safety and behaviour, especially near water.

Please note, any services such as ‘Book A Chef’, ‘Book Transport’ and ‘Book Filming In France’ are provided by stand-alone third party businesses from the angling industry.

Angling Paradise Limited do not accept any responsibility for any issues that may arise from their services.

Any issues should be taken up directly with the service provider directly.
