The Waterside Carp Fishing Lake is home to a wide range of carp species, including Common Carp, Mirror Carp, Grass Carp and Leather Carp, with some of the largest specimens weighing up to 70lb+ in weight.

With 10 swims for up to 8 anglers, you’ll have plenty of space to set up your equipment and bivvy, ensuring a comfortable and relaxed fishing experience.

Toilets and Showers: Indulge in the luxury of our clean and fresh toilet block with showers, conveniently located near the kitchen building. Our facilities are designed to provide a refreshing and hygienic environment for your convenience.

Electricity and Charging: Stay connected with ease using our readily available phone charging stations and mains electric points in the communal area. USB points are also at your disposal, ensuring that your devices stay powered throughout your visit. Please note that our plug sockets adhere to the British 3-pin standard.

Honesty Fridge: For a delightful treat, explore our honesty fridge stocked with a tempting selection of British beers, Coca-Cola, sweets, and chocolates. The honesty system allows you to enjoy your chosen refreshments with trust and convenience.

Bait Storage: Anglers, rejoice! We understand the importance of proper bait storage. Take advantage of our dedicated angler’s fridge and freezer, specially provided to keep your bait and food in optimal condition. Fishermen can rest easy, knowing that their essentials are well taken care of.

Whether you’re here for the angling adventure or simply to unwind, our on-site facilities are designed to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.

The lake has its own bait which can be ordered prior to your

holiday. Orders will need to be received 7 days prior to your

arrival.

All bait orders will be delivered to the Lake for your arrival.

Bait and prices are subject to change We will send you a bait

form when your deposit has been received.

Fishing Rules & Regulations

PLEASE READ AND SHARE WITH YOUR PARTY

• Micro barbed hooks only.
• Mats, slings & landing nets provided by us – do not bring your own.
• £50 cash refundable deposit required.
• Rig tubing or safe zone heli leaders only.
• Maximum three rods per person.
• Carp care kit required.
• Baits allowed: boilie, pellet, maize only.
• Maize & pellet must be purchased on site.
• Bait boats allowed.
• All carp 50lb+ (including grass carp) must be reported to a bailiff before returning.
• No dogs.
• No fires.
• BBQs allowed, but must be raised off the floor.
• Arrival: no entry before 1pm Saturday.
• Departure: must leave by 10am the following Saturday.
• You may drive to your swim to unload, but vehicles must then be returned to the car park.
• Boats are for bailiff use only.
• Fish should only be retained if believed to be over 50lb.
• Keep fish in retainer, in the water, until bailiff arrives.
• No braid mainline – minimum 15lb mono required.
• Freezer baits only.
• Any glass or gas canisters you bring must be taken home.
• Follow rubbish requirements strictly.
• No tiger nuts or maggots.
• Carp care equipment provided on site – do not bring your own mats/nets.

On arrival you will be asked to sign the rule policy regarding glass, swims, and carp care.
Breaking rules may result in being asked to leave.

Swim & Rubbish Rules

• Keep your swim tidy at all times.
• No spod spill, boilies, or bait to be left in swims.
• Rubbish must be separated into:
• Glass
• Recycling
• General waste
• Please take rubbish to bins when you reel in for dinner.
• Human waste must not be disposed of in rubbish bags.
• Keep toilet and shower facilities clean after use.
• Pick up all discarded cigarette ends.
• At the end of the week:
• Swim will be inspected.
• Deposit will only be refunded if rules are followed.
• Anglers with unseparated rubbish will lose their €50 deposit.
• Rowing boats for bailiffs only.

Glass & Gas Policy

• If you bring glass, keep it separate – do not mix with rubbish.
• All glass and gas canisters must be taken home.
• Deposits will not be refunded until rubbish and swims are checked.
